Founded in 1981, the purpose of West Los Angeles Baptist School is to provide a program of education which upholds a standard of scholastic excellence, furnishes instruction in the Christian faith and principles laid down in the Word of God, and to prepare pupils to take their places in the home, in the church and in their country. West Los Angeles Baptist School exists to provide a Christ-centered, quality education that equips students to pursue excellence in all aspects of life and to engage an ever changing world with unchanging Truth. The curriculum of West Los Angeles Baptist School is approved by the University of California. It meets, and in many areas, exceeds the University of California A-G Requirements. Students are taught in a manner which prepares them for post-secondary schoolwork at the University of California and other private universities and colleges.
